Opticis Handheld signal generator, ODSG-02C enables to be handheld and offers not only various different color and diagram patterns, and (L/R) audio with quality of measurement equipment but also stored image files and moving pictures. Therefore it enables to hand carry easily and calibrate color, patterns and shades accurately pixel-by-pixel on-site for HD equipments such as digital or analog computer monitors, video projectors and multi-media TVs. ODSG-02C provides a convenience of hand carrying and easy control for field technicians and factory people.
ODSG-02C enables to output not only digital video signal such as HDMI/DVI, component Y/Pb/Pr but also analog video signals - RGB, S-video and CVBS. It provides a selection of graphic resolutions and refresh rates of widely used test patterns in SD and HD formats. It features to evaluate DDC2B and HDCP functions. Another merit is that the generator offers media display functions to play stored video and audio files from embedded HDD.
The advantages against former ODSG-02C are;
1. It can be operated during 2hours without DC adapter, where the electricity is not supplied.
2. It can be controlled remotely by RS-232, where the accession of operator is limited.
As an option, Opticis supplies a HDMI/DVI to HDSDI/SDI converter, ODSG-01-HS converting high resolution HDMI or DVI sources to a SMPTE standard HD or HD-SDI signal for broadcasting application. The resolutions up to 1080p or UXGA (1,600x1200) are supported over the HD-SDI link.
